Architectural Photography for MediaCityUK | Dusk Photography | Salford

Photography909’s dusk photography of MediaCityUK in Salford captures one of the UK’s most significant media, creative and digital developments as the architecture comes to life through evening light, reflections and illuminated interiors. Located at Salford Quays on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal, MediaCityUK was developed by Peel Media and has become a major mixed-use destination for the BBC, ITV, creative businesses, residential development, public realm and waterfront activity.

Chapman Taylor was lead architect for phase one of the £500m project, which included BBC office buildings, residential towers, TV studios, public realm and a new Metrolink station. Dusk architectural photography is especially effective for a scheme of this scale, allowing the buildings, glazing, waterside setting, bridges, public spaces and skyline to be photographed with atmosphere, depth and visual impact. This type of architectural photography helps show the character of the development after dark and is ideal for architects, developers, contractors and marketing teams who need strong project images for websites, brochures, case studies, press releases and commercial property promotion.

Architectural Photography Approach

The shoot was planned around light, access, composition and the most important features of the building. Careful attention was given to the relationship between the building, its materials, surroundings and intended use.
